1. Your link is yours to share

Share it however you like: send it to people you know, or post it publicly. You may not buy advertising for it, present it as coming from us, or send it to people who have not asked to hear from you.

2. What a reward is

A reward is a percentage off one future report on this account. It is never money, it cannot be paid out, and it cannot be given to anybody else.

3. When a friend counts

A friend counts once they create an account and buy a report through your link, within the window shown on your rewards page. Opening a link earns nothing on its own.

4. Rewards settle before you can use them

A reward becomes usable after the holding period shown beside it. That period exists so that a purchase which is refunded or reversed can be undone. Where a reward has already been used, we may pause your rewards while we look into it.

5. Refunds

Using a reward changes none of our refund rules. A refunded report gives no reward back, unless the refund was our mistake.

6. No referring yourself

You may not earn a reward on your own purchase, through any address, any account, or any payment card.

7. Rewards expire, and so do rounds

Rewards expire on the date shown beside them. A reward round also has an end date, shown on your rewards page. Rewards earned in a round can no longer be used once that round has ended.

8. Abuse

Where we find abuse, we may cancel rewards and orders, withdraw a report obtained with a discount you were not entitled to, and close the account.

9. A discount you were not entitled to is owed back

If you obtain a discount by breaking these rules, you owe us the difference.

10. We may change or end the programme

We may change or end the programme at any time. Rewards you have already earned stay valid until they expire, and the figures shown on your rewards page apply to the rewards you earned while those figures were shown.

11. We never tell you who used your link

You are shown how many people opened it, created an account, finished a free report and bought a report. You are never shown who they are.

12. Public posts are checked by a person

A link to a public post is read by a person before it counts. It may be declined because the post could not be found, was not public, did not carry your link, has already been used, or was not about us. The reason is shown to you.

13. Offers are separate from rewards

An offer we run is separate from your rewards. Where both could apply to one report, we apply whichever gives you more and keep your rewards for next time.
