Candidates with recent work experience in an eligible agriculture or agri-food occupation, such as farm supervision or butchery.
Agriculture and agri-food is not on IRCC’s list of Express Entry categories for 2026, and the rounds below are the only ones held. Those rounds asked for at least six months of full-time work experience, or the same amount part-time, within the last three years in one of the occupations IRCC listed for the category, in Canada or abroad, on top of qualifying for one of the three Express Entry programs. The list of occupations was set by the ministerial instructions for each round, linked below.

Each round, Canada invites the highest ranked candidates in the pool, and the lowest score invited becomes that round’s cutoff. Cutoffs move from round to round, so past rounds do not predict future ones. This table is for information only.
