At least 12 months of full-time work experience, or the same amount part-time, within the last 3 years in one of the occupations IRCC lists for the category, in Canada or abroad, on top of qualifying for one of the three Express Entry programs. The occupation list and the experience rule for each round are set by that round’s ministerial instructions, linked below.
